In the first part, Reading Strategies, there are some guidelines about reading itself. In Text Organization you can read how academic texts are organized, and Linking Words, vihjesanat , help you to follow the logical meaning and structure of the text.

In Word Formation you can learn something about the formation and use of academic words, e.g. affixes.

In Grammar, there are Abitreenit, Englannin kielioppi by Avoin yliopisto, and Pharmacy Grammar. The Annotate section advises you that in academic life, it is of utmost importance to always keep track of your sources. The Writing section explains how to write a summary.
